You have heard this, no doubt. The statement is a proverb during Jesus' time which is meant to encourage private acts charity ~ He is recorded using the proverb in Matthew 6 while discussing charitable deeds. It was important to Him, clearly, because of how the religious people of the time were acting as hypocrites in order to gather favor upon themselves...and remember, Jesus also commanded us in Matthew 5:14-16 to be the light upon the hill and " In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
We have heard from some that what we do here is wrong because it is not in secret. I will not publically entertain a debate on the matter but if you ever want to discuss it, please just reach out to us ok? Rest assured that all that this foundation does is for the Glory of God ALONE. Do we expose the foundation to social media? Well yeah! How else are we supposed to spread the good deeds of the Lord and encourage others to follow the word of God by joining us?!
Please just know, we take what we do very seriously for the sake of the will of God and our Lord Jesus Christ. This is not for our glory. Ever.
Blessings!
Matthew & Anna
